Institute Overview

The CEW Summer Institute is designed to help a team of educators/professionals successfully design and implement innovative practice strategies and policies to impact career development and workforce readiness. The target audiences for these innovative practice strategies and policies include Pre K-12 students, students attending two- and four-year colleges and universities, and transitioning adults.


The Institute provides an opportunity for your team to learn about innovative practice strategies and policies that impact career and workforce development and to use the CEW Project Management System to design a customized plan of action for implementing innovative practice strategies and policies in your own school, college, or organization.


Unique features of the Institute include:

  • Select a topic of importance to your team.
  • Design innovative practice strategies and policies to address your own career development and workforce readiness goals.
  • Work with an assigned coach who will provide technical assistance support throughout the summer and fall.
  • Use the CEW Project Management System to design and manage implementation and evaluation of your innovative strategies and policies.
